Beijing Sicheng is a holding company whose actual operating entities are wholly-owned subsidiaries ISSI, ISSI Cayman and SI EN Cayman. ISSI was founded in 1988 and listed on NASDAQ in 1995. Its main business is R&D, technical support and sales of integrated circuit memory chips (and their derivatives) and R&D and sales of integrated circuit analog chips. It was taken private in 2015 by Chinese investors represented by Beijing Sicheng. The main product lines include DRAM, SRAM, NOR Flash, analog circuit and mixed signal products, which are mainly used in automotive electronics, industrial manufacturing, communication equipment and other industries. Beijing Xicheng memory chip products in the DRAM, SRAM field maintain a leading position in the world, and it is the only enterprise in Chinese mainland being able to develop and sell industrial-grade RAM chips in the world.
